Details The FXD-01 Basic Dimming Fixture Module is intended to be installed in a circuit where there is no wall switch to control the circuit but dimming is desired.
Features/Applications The FXD-01 Dimming Fixture Module is used control a light when a wall switch is not practical. Typically, the dimming fixture module mounts in an electrical box above a fixture or in another location and is wired using the existing power wires. Mounting ears are provided to provide a solid mounting structure. The dimming fixture module is extremely flexible, and can be programmed using the NetPlace server for insertion into up to 16 different scenes, and insertion into multiple macros.	Benefits This dimming fixture module can provide various home automation features in situations where a wall switch is not practical. Then, the module offers the standard UPB benefits: - Stronger signal strength than X-10 - Increased electrical noise resistance than X-10 - Utilizes existing electrical wiring - Cost effective The FXD-01 uses Universal Powerline Bus technology for superior performance and reliability.
